Petr Smejkal
MUDr. Petr Smejkal is a renowned Czech epidemiologist and infectious disease specialist with extensive professional and international experience in public health, preventive medicine, and clinical care. Since 2021, he has been working as an infectious disease specialist and epidemiologist at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM), where he contributes to addressing infectious disease challenges in the context of modern medicine. He also serves part-time as an internist at Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, Maine, USA, combining his clinical expertise with international experience.
